Cradle to Cradle Certified® Gold
Cradle to Cradle Certified is the leading holistic standard for a consistent circular economy. No certification concept evaluates products as strictly and comprehensively as Cradle to Cradle. At the end of the 1980s, chemistry professor Dr. Michael Braungart developed the Cradle to Cradle model for recyclable industrial processes and materials: Our products are certified by Cradle to Cradle with regard to the five core areas of material health, recyclability, renewable energies, water balance and social responsibility. NEAVE products are without exception at the Cradle to Cradle Certified Gold level, and even Cradle to Cradle Platinum certified in material health.

They do not contain heavy metals, conventional plasticizers, UV blockers, fluorine compounds, flame retardants, BPAs, biocides, silicones and other toxic contents. NEAVE products are simply free of toxins!

Resource-saving
NEAVE products use as few natural resources as possible. NEAVE surpasses the gold level requirements of Cradle to Cradle. Of course, at least 50% renewable energies are used in the manufacture of NEAVE products: along the entire value chain. Overall, the use of energy is significantly lower: On the one hand, the melting point of naNea is below that of a conventional polyester, and on the other hand, lower temperatures during the dyeing process are sufficient. In addition to the significantly reduced energy consumption, we conserve other resources: Compared to a T-shirt made of conventional cotton, significantly less water is consumed. Special focus is on CO2 emissions: NEAVE is proud of a significant reduction in CO2 emissions.

The synthetic fibre naNea combines the positive properties of synthetic and natural fibres: a unique combination to date. Conventional polyester is "improved" in its properties with the help of harmful chemicals: a change that has a heavy impact on the environment. In naNea, all these properties are inherent: hydrophilicity, breathability and flame retardancy. No subsequent and ecologically worrying changes are necessary. A plus point: Untreated fabrics made of naNea are softer and more comfortable to wear without sacrificing high durability.
